Meet the Team
Dr. Emma O’Byrne
Emma brings both professional expertise and deep clinical insight to her work.
As a chartered clinical psychologist with over seven years of experience supporting young people, she understands not only the child’s experience during assessment and therapy, but also the emotional journey that families navigate when seeking clarity and support. Having worked closely with children, adolescents, and parents across a range of services, she recognises how overwhelming the process can feel—and she is passionate about ensuring no family feels overwhelmed or alone.
Emma’s approach is neuroaffirmative, strength-based, and child-centred.
She is passionate about making the assessment process a therapeutic piece of work for children and their family. She creates a calm, supportive space where young people feel understood and safe to express themselves, and where parents feel informed, reassured, and guided. Since establishing her private practice, her focus has been on providing thoughtful, evidence-based care that honours each child’s individuality and empowers families with knowledge that has an impact.
